Procedure Explanation of this section

The security and rescue plan is part of the registration of the event.

Required documents Explanation of this section

The security and rescue plan must include at least the following:

a) details of security measures;

b) details of rescue measures;

c) written opinion from the rescue service;

d) written opinion from the local fire brigade;

e) exact details about any use of a security service;

f) measures foreseen to prevent emergencies and reduce their impact.

The administrative authority must obtain an opinion on the security and rescue plan from the security department which has local responsibility and, where additional fire protection measures are needed, it must consult the local fire brigade.

Note on Jurisdiction

- responsibility of the mayor of the municipality in which the event is to be held, or the city administration if in the city of Innsbruck;

- if the event extends across the territory of several municipalities of a political district, the district authority is the competent authority;

- if the event extends across the territory of several political districts, the provincial government is the competent authority.
