Events – periodic inspection of facilities

Description
Event organisers must check their facilities every 2 years at the latest.
General information
Event organisers must have their facilities inspected at their own cost to see whether these meet the requirements of Section 3(b) or (c) of the Tyrol Events Law of 2003 and other instructions.
All parts of the facilities used for the organisation of public events must be designed, manufactured, constructed, installed, modified, operated, maintained and repaired in such a way that they do not endanger the life or health of humans or the safety of property (Section 3(b)) and do not cause unacceptable nuisance to humans through noise, odour, smoke, shaking, heat, light or vibrations (Section 3(c)).
Requirements
- Any facilities which may adversely affect the interests referred to in Section 3(b) or (c).
- The following are entitled to carry out the inspection:
· state-authorised and certified civil engineers within the remit of their authority;
· accredited bodies within the remit of their accreditation;
· persons authorised under commercial regulations to design, manufacture, install, modify or repair the facilities in question.
Deadlines
- Every 2 years at the latest
- For facilities which may adversely affect the interests referred to in Section 3(b) or (c), the administrative authority may, by means of an administrative decision, reduce the period for inspection accordingly.
Procedure
- Have facilities inspected every 2 years at the latest.
- Keep the inspection findings at the facilities or have them available via another appropriate means.
Authentification and signature
The application does not have to be signed electronically – using a mobile phone signature (Handy‑Signatur) or E-ID – or by hand.
