Becoming a skilled worker in a skilled agricultural and forestry trade
General information
The vocational training must be comprehensive and impart the knowledge and skills necessary to work as a skilled worker in a skilled agricultural and forestry trade. This includes environmental and rural conservation.
Requirements
Successful completion of the skilled worker’s examination in a skilled agricultural and forestry trade.
Deadlines
There are no specific deadlines to be observed.
Procedure
Skilled worker training is done via an apprenticeship and further technical training or by attending a college in conjunction with practical work.
Authentification and signature
The application does not have to be signed electronically – using a mobile phone signature (Handy-Signatur) or E-ID – or by hand.
Required documents
Relevant evidence of skills or qualifications, evidence of any periods of vocational training
Costs
Administrative charges; fees in accordance with the Fees Act (Gebührengesetz).

The profession of skilled worker, as defined by the Tyrol Agricultural and Forestry Vocational Training Act 2000, LGBl. No 32, is aligned with the qualification level under Article 11(b)(i) of Directive 2005/36/EC, LGBl. No 32.
