Becoming a master craftsperson in a skilled agricultural and forestry trade

General information

The vocational training must be comprehensive and impart the knowledge and skills necessary to work as a master craftsperson in an agricultural and forestry profession. This includes environmental and rural conservation.

Requirements

Successful completion of the master craftsperson’s examination in a skilled agricultural and forestry trade.

Deadlines

There are no specific deadlines to be observed.

Procedure

Master craftsperson training is done via an apprenticeship and a number of years’ work as a craftsperson or practical experience as a self-employed person, and by attending the relevant master craftsperson’s preparatory training course or completing an applicable course of study at a university or technical college.

Authentification and signature

The application does not have to be signed electronically – using a mobile phone signature (Handy-Signatur) or E-ID – or by hand.

Relevant evidence of skills or qualifications, evidence of any periods of vocational training

Costs

Administrative charges; fees in accordance with the Fees Act (Gebührengesetz).
