Business operators, event organisers and their representatives are subject to a duty to inform.

General information

Business operators, event organisers and their representatives must clearly specify the provisions of this Act, and of the regulations enacted on the basis thereof, that apply to their activities. Furthermore, they must take other appropriate measures to ensure compliance with this Act and the regulations enacted on the basis thereof.

Requirements

- Business operators, event organisers and their representatives must draw attention to the provisions of the Youth Protection Act (Jugendschutzgesetz) and its regulations on the premises and land on which they carry out their activities.

- Verbal information; ascertaining the ages of children and young people; denial of entry to, or removal from, premises or land.
