EUSALP Annual Forum

A decade of Alpine-wide cooperation, a decade of commitment to a strong and sustainable Alpine region, this is what we celebrate at the Annual Forum of the EU Alpine Strategy hosted under the joint Presidency of Austria and Liechtenstein.
This year’s Forum, themed “Cooperation empowers Transformation - 10 Years of EUSALP”, offers a platform for exchange, inspiration, and participation, featuring a diverse program of political discussions, talk shows, interactive workshops, and a vibrant Networking Village.
The focus lies on the uniqueness of the Alpine region and the transformations needed – in energy, mobility, and sustainable construction – to ensure its ecological and economic future.

Über die EUSALP
7 countries, 48 regions and more than 80 million inhabitants
The EU Alpine Strategy (EUSALP) brings together Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, France, Italy and Slovenia as well as their 48 Alpine regions.
The Alpine area is one of Europe’s largest living, natural and economic spaces – and one of its most popular travel destinations. At the same time, it is at the heart of many of today’s major challenges: climate change, resource scarcity, demographic shifts and the question of sustainable development converge here in a particularly striking way.
Priorities of the 2025 Co-Presidency
The current Presidency has set clear thematic priorities:
- Mobility transition: Ecological, efficient and cross-border mobility.
- Energy transition: Sustainable energy supply through regional solutions.
- Circular construction: Keeping resources in the loop, build and renovate sustainably.
- Youth participation: Actively involving young voices for a future-oriented policy.
10 Years of EUSALP - Political Highlight in Innsbruck
The tenth anniversary of EUSALP is more than a milestone – it is a look ahead. At the Annual Forum and the General Assembly in Innsbruck, decision-makers from across the Alpine region will come together to take stock and jointly set the course for the next ten years.
