Museumspreis des Landes Tirol
Das Land Tirol verleiht seit 1996 den Tiroler Museumspreis für besondere Leistungen in Präsentation, Betrieb und im Umgang mit Sammlungen. Seit 2008 wird der Preis als Projektpreis vergeben, ergänzt seit 2021 durch einen Anerkennungspreis.

Österreichischer Museumspreis
Der Österreichische Museumspreis wird jährlich vom Bundesministerium für Wohnen, Kunst, Kultur, Medien und Sport (BMWKMS) im Rahmen des Österreichischen Museumstags verliehen. Er zeichnet Museen für herausragende Leistungen in Präsentation, Vermittlung, gesellschaftlicher Relevanz und professionellem Management aus.
Die Auswahl der Preisträger:innen erfolgt durch den Museumsbeirat der (Stand 2024/25) aus folgenden Museumsfachleuten besteht: Hannes Sulzenbacher (Jüdisches Museum Wien), Sibylle Dienesch (Graz Museum), Lisa Noggler-Gürtler (Tiroler Landesmuseen), Ümit Mares-Altinok (Wien Museum) und Martin Hagmayr (Museum Arbeitswelt Steyr)

European Museum of the Year Award
Der European Museum of the Year Award (EMYA) wurde 1977 vom Europarat initiiert und wird vom European Museum Forum (EMF) organisiert. Er gilt als renommiertester Museumspreis Europas und würdigt Museen mit innovativen Konzepten, hoher Ausstellungsqualität, Publikumsorientierung und gesellschaftlicher Relevanz.

European Museum Academy Awards
Die European Museum Academy (EMA) wurde 2009 gegründet und ist ein unabhängiges Netzwerk zur Förderung innovativer Museumsarbeit in Europa. Im Fokus stehen Museen mit besonderen Projekten, Bildungsinitiativen und neuen Vermittlungskonzepten, die ebenfalls jährlich aber niederschwelliger für herausragende Leistungen in Ausstellungsgestaltung, Bildung und kulturellem Erbe ausgezeichnet werden.

Luigi Micheletti Award
