“The competition ‘Pitch Your Project’ was launched in 2018 as part of Tyrol’s EUSALP presidency and is entering its next round this year. Once again, the motto is: get involved and take part,” said Governor Anton Mattle, calling on young people to submit their ideas on how to shape our shared future in the Alpine region. Registration was open until 8 October 2025 at tirol.gv.at/pitch-your-project.
Shaping the Alpine region of tomorrow
The Region of Tyrol and the EU Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP) were looking for young visionaries aged between 16 and 29 wanting to play an active role in shaping the Alpine region of tomorrow. Creative project ideas were sought in the following fields: mobility transition, sustainable energy, circular economy and youth participation.
The representatives of the five highest-ranked projects will be invited to present their ideas to an international expert audience at the EUSALP Annual Forum on 25 November 2025 in Innsbruck, held as part of the 10th anniversary of EUSALP. In a public vote, the audience will select three winning projects, which will be awarded prize money of 5,000, 3,000 and 2,000 Euros respectively. In addition, the winners will receive active support in implementing their projects from experts from the EUSALP countries.
