Partnerships

The Region of Tyrol actively promotes its interests in Europe, particularly in the Alpine region, through various cooperative frameworks and institutions. As a region located at the heart of the Alps, Tyrol is strongly committed to shaping the future of this alpine space. Therefore, Tyrol is part of several initiatives, including the Working Community of the Alpine Regions (ARGE ALP), the EU Strategy for the Alpine Region (EUSALP) and the Alpine Convention. In addition, Tyrol is directly represented in the European Committee of the Regions, the EU body where local and regional authorities advocate for their interests and thus actively contribute to the EU’s decision-making process.
