“Coffee connects. So does Europe.” Austria acceded to the European Union in 1995, and this year’s Europe Day focused on Austria’s 30 years of EU membership. The European Information Office of the Region of Tyrol – EUROPE DIRECT Tyrol – took this occasion to host its europacafé, featuring a converted Piaggio Ape three-wheeler with an integrated coffee machine, to discuss current questions and concerns relating to the European Union.
The Region of Tyrol’s InfoCorner of generations provided information on the EU youth programmes Erasmus+ Youth and the European Solidarity Corps (ESC). In addition, representatives of the Europe-wide community together.eu were present.
