FRIDA. Finds a place for you.

FRIDA is the state's new digital platform, which parents and guardians can use to register their need for a place in a crèche, nursery or after-school care centre in Tyrol. That means:

• Previously: Filling out the paper form and submitting it to the local authority or facilities during opening hours.
• New: Accessing the FRIDA registration platform (starting with 1 December) and easily registering your need from home. 

The Tyrolean state government is implementing the right to the allocation of a place in a childcare facility. All children, from their second birthday onwards, should be provided with a place in a crèche, nursery or after-school care centre, if required. This also requires good organisation. Registrations are collected via FRIDA. The childcare places are then allocated by the responsible local authorities or private providers as close to your place of residence as possible. If a child cannot be placed in the desired facility, coordinators will help to find a place near your home or workplace. 

FRIDA facilitates formal registration and data collection. 

FRIDA enables fair and transparent placement.

FRIDA is for all children who wish to attend a crèche, nursery or after-school care centre for the first time or who are transferring to another facility.
 

IMPORTANT: FRIDA requires ID Austria.
