Raising European awareness

Tyrol's European policy aims to involve the people of Tyrol in the European integration process and to encourage their active participation.

The Region of Tyrol thus supports projects and activities that enable citizens to judge European developments in an informed and open manner, to make use of the opportunities Europe offers, to foster European awareness and to promote the idea of European integration.

Also eligible for funding are excursions by school classes and youth groups to South Tyrol and Trentino that engage with cultural, economic and social themes of the European Region.

Funding is available – subject to the available budget – for school classes, higher education institutions and other educational establishments in Tyrol for trips to EU and European Council institutions and bodies in Strasbourg.
